We at Hinding Tennis have been building and resurfacing tennis courts for over 15 years.
Our customer list includes the Tennis Hall of Fame, the 2004 Davis Cup at Mohegan Sun,
World Team Tennis For Both Boston and Hartford, Many Indoor Clubs and Outdoor Residential Courts.
We are specialist in “All Weather Cushioned Courts”. We take pride in each and every job we do, we are
only as good as our last project-so make it yours. We offer many types of surfaces from “All Weather”,
to “Artificial Grass” to “Cushioned Mat Systems” for existing cracked courts to “Poured in Place Rubber Systems”.
Nowadays everyone wants a soft cushion court and this is our specialty. We offer solutions
for existing cracked courts that can keep cracks from coming back year after year. Back in the late 80’s,
I began working for the Copeland Family out of college. The Copeland Family has been building and resurfacing
great courts since the 1950’s. I worked on a tennis crew for four years and learned many traits of the trade
through my days as a crew foreman. In the early 90’s I approached the Owner’s of Copeland Coating, who
are located in Upstate NY and manufacturers of quality acrylic coatings for tennis courts to move down to
Connecticut and start up my own company using their materials. Since then it has been a “win-win”
situation for all of us.
Today we can customize any court to your particular liking. We offer and use only the finest quality materials.
Outside of the quality paint from Copeland, We also offer Deco Products and Laykold materials. Deco is a
very common name especially in the Northeast, they are the official surface of the “US Open” and
many other great events. The Laykold product is another quality acrylic that can be customized to
your preference and liking. Speed of play and cushion are two factors that come into play when building or resurfacing a tennis court. With our background and knowledge, we have the ability to customize the speed of play and offer the comfort that many serious tennis players are looking for.
For a free quote or analysis of your particular court, please feel free to contact us and ask about our many products.
